Aquatics
The Downtown YMCA operates its aquatic programs at The Learning Corridor located at 43 Vernon Street, Hartford, CT.  Please click on the link to the right for descriptions of the programs and the schedule!  
Group Exercise
Join in the fun of group exercise at the Downtown YMCA.  The Downtown YMCA offers indoor cycling, Zumba, kickboxing, Power Box, Body Challenge, Power Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Pilates, Cardio Pump, Body Blast, Yogilates, Power Walking, Stability Ball, Basic Training and even Water Fitness!

Massage Therapy
The Downtown YMCA offers a variety of therapeutic massage options with licensed massage therapists.  For an appointment please email Alison Scannell.  This service is available to the public, but Members receive discounted prices of the services.  For more information click here.

Read to Succeed: An Adult Literacy Program that provides effective and affordable literacy instruction to adults since 1990.  Read to Succeed specializes in teaching adults with learning disabilies to gain the basic reading skills needed to live a more successful life.

  LIVESTRONG: A 12 week program FREE program designed for all adult cancer surivors.  We are dedicated to helping cancer survivors get their lives back!

Program Details Include:
  • 2 classes per week
  • 75 minute sessions that focus on cardiovascular endurance, muscualr strength and endurance, flexibility, balance, and the mind/body/spirit
