The YMCA of Greater Hartford is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit charitable organization proudly serving the region since 1852. Throughout its history, it has served youth, families and adults by helping them develop the skills that embody the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. These skills enrich lives and help people reach their potential in life.
The YMCA of Greater Hartford currently provides services to over 111,000 people in 52 communities, including 66,500 children and youth in our 11 branches and camps throughout the region. Additionally, we serve youth and families from all across Connecticut and beyond at our YMCA Resident Camps, Woodstock and Jewell.
It is through the generosity of our donors that the YMCA continues to be a strong community service partner by providing services to those seeking to improve their lives regardless of ability to pay.
